We’re excited to be welcoming the children’s illustrator and debut author Greg Stobbs to The Old Library on Skircoat Green Road on Wednesday 5th February 3:45pm to 5pm. Tickets are available at The Old Library and The Thoughtful Spot Children’s Book Shop. Greg's first authored book, 'Cloud Boy', centres around a boy who "drifts into the clouds" often, and celebrates neurodiversity. "Whenever Bobby gets distracted, he starts to float – there are so many sights and sounds and smells which draw his attention. Bobby wants to concentrate like his friends, so he ties himself to the ground so he can’t drift too far, but that just makes him feel empty inside... Maybe there’s a different way?" Hear the wonderful story of Bobby, and then take part in a drawing activity, based on the book.
